Organic Sencha Asagiri

In Japan, the red-crowned crane, “tsuru,” is a national symbol, just like Sencha green tea, which accounts for about 80% of the country’s production. Processing involves halting oxidation through steaming, followed by rolling the leaves into pine-needle shapes. The result is a fresh and luminous Sencha, with a sweet, velvety taste and intense vegetal notes. A great Japanese classic of balance and purity.
